Energy Definition Matters
This website is a response to the current public, private, and official governing conversations and actions related to human energy use. The website goal is to provide fundamental actionable information to those organizations and individuals who have created a stake in future climate policy and it is about creating a new climate science paradigm with an immediate and universally understood language: Earth energy resources that are geologically extracted (including fossilized light resources) i.e., gas, oil, coal, uranium and minerals are replaced with biological light energy resources in a living planet, i.e., oxygen, radiation, wind, trees, plants, rivers and oceans. Recently, President Biden has announced a plan called Climate Electricity Standard (CES) including legislative proposals for Climate Leadership and Environmental Action for the Nation or the CLEAN Future Act of 2021. However, that energy proposed for the future is not “clean”. That public policy does not work to fully stop all Earth extracted energy use in the future.
The term “clean” is born from a past outdated paradigm that does not have a Clear origin. As an energy public policy definition, it is totally inadequate to describe the economically available range of light energy resource(s) technology that must be deployed to supplant today’s Earth energy resources.

Energy Definition Matters
How can we trust the proposed Biden policy to stop warming our planet if we plan to use (much) more of the same Earth energy extracted resources? Since the CLEAN Act represents the continued development of Earth energy resources, the 650+ organizations opposing the Act (listed by Friends of the Earth) and other protestors should lobby themselves and Congress to rename the Act to accurately reveal and publicly communicate its’ actual legislative intent, as the: “Earth Energy Future Act.2021”.
These same organizations and others instead propose a Renewable Electricity Standard (RES) that includes some light energy resources. This is better, but is it enough? Again, the adjective “renewable” and the terms “sustainable” and “green new deal” derives from the past evolution of terms used and adopted to give a name for inclusion of non- Earth energy resources and do not connote the source of any resources.
Nowhere in all these previous and current definitions is there identity of the Source and Cause for all weather and climate and that is light. A new language – A new paradigm – a new energy definition is required for public policy. Support for the RES should – must – be refocused and lobbied in Congress to create separate, new legislation for a: “light Energy Future Act 2021”

How can we define what works so we can reach our goals in time? By bringing forward broad society-wide education for public acceptance, and focused programs to deploy light energy resources by the dominating traditional and progressive activists as identified by Sociologist James Davison Hunter. The traditionalist vision, he argued, “is predicated upon the achievement and traditions of the past as the foundations and guide to the challenges of the present, while the progressive view is ambivalent to the legacy of the past, regarding it partly as a useful point of reference and partly as a source of oppression”. If traditionalists see themselves as seeking the “reinvigoration and realization of what are considered to be the very noblest ideals and achievements of civilization” progressivists hope for “the further emancipation of the human spirit and the creation of an inclusive and tolerant world”. And this is further delineated in a 2006 Alan Wolfe political scientist and E. J. Dionne Jr. dialogue with Hunter as a cultural split “not between red and blue state America but a division inside every person”
